Our work reaches thousands of immigrants and allies each year—but we rely on volunteers to be able to do so much.
In 2006, more than 60 volunteers conducted afterschool tutoring, gave ESL classes, called deadbeat employers, and translated more documents than we can count.
Our volunteers have included students from Molloy College, Hofstra University, St. John’s, and many other schools. Law students find work here particularly useful experience. |

Volunteers are currently needed in the following areas: · Legal Interns · Unpaid wages volunteers · General office volunteers · Fundraising volunteers · Volunteers for education and Outreach · Trainers in Workers Rights · Translators/Interpreters (in person or via email) · Volunteer for technical support (computer skills, legal advice, etc) |
