Our community organizing center in Farmingville, run by members of United Day Laborers of LI, offers leadership development, ESL, art, computer classes and afterschool tutoring. Like our center in Hempstead, we organize and educate to insure that we are building power of the immigrant community on Long Island over the long term.

UNITY Housecleaners - worker-run cooperative of housecleaners; fights abuse on the job and obtains fair wages for its members; offers workshops in basic skills, including cooking and cleaning, as well as nutrition and general health.
